Building Effective Character Blocks-A must for good reputation

Many do not know that they can influence and change the negative aspects of their character. There are simple but effective steps to get the desired positive results as outlined in this

Character is the sum of what you do and what you are.

Little do many know that character can be influenced and changed through a personal decision and choice to build it So they find themselves with behaviors they do not like and think it will take deliverance to get out of them.

Here are some steps you can use to deal with bad character and get good ones.

1.Identify the particular components of your character that you want to change: cheating, gossiping, unfaithful, unreliable, etc.
2. Analyze them in order to get adequate understanding of the damages they make to your personality and image or for that matter your reputation
3. identify your strengths which could be used to deal with them.
4. Create a plan (you can work with a Life Coach) to help you deal with the bad traits identified.
5. Ensure that the plan contains specific and clear results which will produce outcomes which will impact positively on your character, when they are achieved
6.Include in your plan your own benchmarks for measuring and examining the desired results. The bench marks should be universally acceptable among you co-workers, friends and groups. That is not meant to please them but rather to gain access to their bank of confidence in you, as a .well behaved person with whom they can relate without fear or reservation.
7. Also Appoint some friends as enforcers and inspectors, who will give you frank feedback about the direction of your progress.
8. To get good results select more than 3 bad traits for a start which are related, such that when you are making progress, you can use one or two of them to assess the progress. For example, if you are often late to work, you want to deal with and monitor how early you get up from bed, how much lingering you do before getting ready and how much effort you make when you leave the house to get to office in time. So then you have broken your targets into small and manageable slots.

Your low target could be getting to the office 10 minutes earlier, while an aggressive target could be arriving more than 30 minutes before time.
The aggressive target will produce immediate noticeable results which could shock some of your co-workers and begin to earn you some respect. Some will even think you have started sleeping in the office.
So when each component is well managed, you will get to office on time and not as a late comer.
9. Use the results and tactics to now attack the naughtier traits and see the results coming it. You would have then gained a measure of confidence in yourself, which is vital for further character building blocks..
10. Remember, you behavior is the work of the flesh (Galatians 5:19) and you can deal with each of them.
